Blessing For TodaySample

Make the Burdens Light!
There is a Jewish proverb which says, “I ask not for a lighter burden, but for broader shoulders.” Shouldering the burden of others is the hallmark of a Christian.
In the year 1990, we were expecting our first child. One day, around 10 pm, my wife began to experience labour pains. I immediately drove her to the hospital. As soon as we reached the hospital, I got down and helped my wife shift to the ward. All of a sudden I started experiencing severe stomach pain. I was unable to bear it and writhed in pain. The doctors admitted me in the same hospital and administered medicines after which I slept, peacefully. I only woke up the following morning. I picked up everything in haste and rushed to see my wife, assuming that the child would have been born. But my wife was wheeled into the delivery room only at that time and our baby was born at last. The funny part is that I got the pain and she delivered the baby. I suffered pain, but we both rejoiced seeing the baby at last! Though it seems funny, this is how the Lord Jesus wants us to bear with one another in love. If the burden is physical or emotional, you can bear it through time, effort, counsel, embraces, listening to their troubles and prayers. If the burden is financial, the burden can be borne by giving your money or any other assistance. Bearing and sharing is a joy!
Prayer
“Loving Father, make me a blessing to someone in need today. Put timely words in my mouth to relieve their pain. Fill my storehouse so that I can meet the needs of others. Let me be the answer to their prayer. Thank You for this grace. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
‘A joy shared is a double joy. A burden shared is half a burden’
Scripture
About this Plan

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work. We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
