Chosen 

Sometimes we feel out of place in our neighborhood or workplace. People find us different – different by our actions, speech and attitude. It is because God has chosen us out of this world and has given us a kingdom where there is neither sorrow nor tears. He has chosen us to rejoice in Christ Jesus. 

Many years ago, a government servant was ministering in his free time. His higher official didn’t like him and suspended him under false allegations. Days rolled by. The senior officer called the suspended officer and said there had been no faults in his service, and so he apologised to him in front of all the officials. He was asked to work with him as well as do God’s ministry in his free time. This is the honor God gives His children. 

My friend, if the world hates you, then know that it hates you because of Jesus Christ. The end times are here and everything according to the word of God will come to pass. When He left the world, Jesus said that there will be tribulations in the world. But He also told us ‘not to worry about it for He has overcome the world.’ So cheer up when you face any rejection or troubles because you are not of the world, for God has chosen you. God will bless you in double measure and remove your shame. 

Prayer

“Loving Lord, I know the end times are near and I joyfully accept Your words. I believe that when I am rejected, its only because of Your love. Today I may go through temptations but one day you will reward me with Your crown. Thank You Jesus. Amen.”
