Blessing For Today

DAY 12 OF 365

Simple Things

Moses was chosen by God to deliver the Israelites from Egypt’s slavery and lead them towards the fertile land of Canaan. As they moved out of Egypt, Pharaoh and his army chased the Israelites. The Israelites were gripped with fear. With the Red Sea in front of them and Pharaoh’s army behind them they were unable to move anywhere. But when they prayed to God, God told Moses to simply lift the rod in his hand and stretch it over the sea. To his amazement, the Red Sea split into two. The Israelites walked safely across the sea on dry ground.

My dearly beloved, God asked Moses to do the simplest thing – “To stretch his hands and lift the rod.” Moses too obeyed God’s word which appeared very simple. Is there anything you are praying for? God gives very simple and wise remedies. Follow them and see great miracles. It can be as simple as changing your route of travel, avoiding chats, to change a doctor, changing your child’s school or simply remain in the same job. Though they may not make sense to you amidst your problems, obey His voice. You will see great miracles happening in your life.

Prayer

“Loving Father, every time the hardships of this world tries to engulf me, fear grips my heart. But today, I commit myself to follow Your lead. I pray for Your divine wisdom to fill me. I thank You for instilling Your thoughts in me. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

‘You do the simple part; God will do the complicated part’
