Simple Acts of Kindness
God provides frequent moments for us to make a difference in the lives of those around us. Whether we realize it or not, He calls us to walk in love and be His light in a world of darkness. This is a responsibility each of us holds as His followers. It is inspiring to know that when we care for others, people will see Jesus in us. Becoming aware of the needs of people around you can help open doors to share with people. John Whitehouse talks about simple acts of kindness that can make a big difference.

Take a few moments to reflect on the people you see in day-to-day life. Can you identify any needs or situations that they are going through? Might you be able to express concern and offer help? No matter how well you do or do not know them, you spread God’s light by encouraging them and showing that you care. Your care in the midst of their difficult situation will allow you to share about the hope Jesus offers. We can be His direct reflection, if we so choose.
