It’s Time

Day 1 of 5 • This day’s reading

“It’s Time”

There are times when God arranges events that change individual lives, like the moment Jesus met Matthew, the tax-collector, and called him to follow Him. Matthew’s life was forever transformed.

Then there are times when God arranges events to change groups of people, like on the Day of Pentecost (see Acts 2). That group was forever changed in how they bore fruit for the kingdom of God. But occasionally God arranges for events that affect a whole nation. We see this in the revival in the days of King Hezekiah (see 2 Chron. 29-30).

I believe God called Angus Buchan to arrange the “It’s Time” event in Bloemfontein to be a foundation for national change in South Africa. We are yet to see the full effect of this change, but change there will be!

I have had the privilege of knowing Angus for many years and know of some of the enormous battles he had to face after hearing the Lord’s instructions to call the nation of South Africa to a day of prayer. Whenever things of huge significance that would advance the kingdom of God are about to take place, the attack is often most intense.

Angus cried out to God in faith and everyone saw the greatness and majesty of the Lord as one by one, each and every obstacle was overcome. There are some incredible stories of how God worked out these things supernaturally. Indeed, “It’s Time”. This book has had its foundations in heaven. I know you will be blessed by it.
