A Thought Align with God's Thought

Set Your Thoughts On The Excellent After the better, there is the excellent. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things. We have the tendency to think that our thoughts operate by themselves without any possibility to control them. However the Bible teaches us that we can choose what we think. Now, this verse seems unreachable to us who are human but the Spirit of the Lord living in us makes the difference. God promises that spring of living water is going to flow from us if we keep our heart with vigilance. In the Bible there are different examples of people led toward the excellence. David was living with the thoughts of God in his mind, he could say “How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!” (Psalm 139:17). Then no wonder why David could say “I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living” (Psalm 27:13). Notice the woman with a discharge of blood, she thought the “excellence” and was made well “she said to herself, “If I only touch his garment, I will be made well”. Take note of Nehemiah who received in his heart to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem “I had not told anyone what my God had put in my heart to do for Jerusalem”. Then, read the book of Nehemiah and see all the miracles God accomplished. As the Spirit of the Lord moves your heart and thoughts, you will always go to the excellence. Maybe God put in your heart to encourage someone, so do it. Maybe, you walk in the street and your thoughts go to worship God, so do it.
