TAKE A STEP OF FAITH

We often hear all these great things that God has said unto us, just like Joshua. But here is what sets Joshua apart. He acted on the instructions God gave him. He took faith actions. What does that mean?

Faith actions are doing things as though your miracle has already happened. Acting like your school fees have been provided even if you don’t know where they will come from. Dancing like it’s your wedding day even though you are single.

Look at Joshua towards the end of verse 11: “for within three days you will cross over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which the Lord your God is giving you.” He spoke the promises that God had given him out loud. He wasn’t shy to tell the people that they would indeed possess the land. Some of us — God has told us that He will provide for us, but when we are talking with our friends, we all complain. How can God carry out what He has promised you when even you do not agree with Him? Let your words and actions be those of faith in God and not fear today!

Father, I believe your promise with faith. I take action in accordance with your words today. I speak in alignment with you. I will not defile myself with my words. Give me the grace to always be in agreement with you, with my words and actions.
