Worried?

DAY 1 OF 3

First and foremost, it’s always good to take moments of stillness to examine our heart—moments with no distractions from people or technology, just alone with God. That’s essential to align our ideas, intentions, and desires with His will.

But it always happens that a thought crosses our mind and makes our heart beat fast, in an uncomfortable way. That’s what causes worry. We need to analyze it, detect it, and run to biblical promises we can cling to in order to get rid of what might drown us.

We have to be careful! Jesus Himself said it in Matthew 13:22 (NIV): “The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful.” The risk is losing the fruit of God’s Word seed in our lives. So whenever we examine ourselves and seek the Lord and His Word, we’ll be able to fight this battle.

About this Plan

Worried?

Worry can start with just one thought crossing our mind, and if we don’t get rid of it, it can lead us to very dark places. So keeping our heart and mind free of worry becomes key for the Christian.
