B. Heaven, God's dwelling place as a place of purity

In our previous study, we established the fact that God in essence and person is pure and holy. That served as the basis on which we as His creation are to be pure and holy.

In this lesson, we will go further to see that God is not only pure and holy in His person and essence but even His habitat; His dwelling place, is pure

1. Read these passages and reflect on how they describe Heaven; 2 Chronicles 30:27, Psalm 20:6
2. What is the relationship between Heaven as described in the above passages and the city described in Revelation 21:2,10?
3. How do you relate the above points with Paul's statement in l Corinthians 3:16-17?
4. What strong warning does Paul give in the above passage?

C. Heavenly Beings as Pure

1. From the Heaven's Throne account in Revelation 4, discuss the Heavenly Beings narrated and why you think they are pure (holy)
2. What do the words of their worship in verse 8 suggest about the person of God?
3. Lucifer was once an angel in Heaven living in God's dwelling. What brought him down? Read Ezekiel 28: 12-18.
4. Angels are pure beings and have to remain so. In a way, we can say that God's Angels depend on purity to survive. How do you understand this?
5. When there was sin in the Garden of Eden, who was sent to physically guard the place of purity? Read Genesis 3:24.
6. If God does not spare His Angels when they sin, what does that teach you about man?
