May 19 – Obeying the Word
Obeying the Word means putting Scripture into action. It is the practical expression of understanding. The Word is not complete in the life of a believer until it is acted upon.
This matters because obedience produces results. It turns knowledge into experience and truth into reality. Growth happens when Scripture is applied consistently.
When obedience is neglected, knowledge becomes useless. People hear the Word but do not benefit from it. This leads to deception and stagnation.
DAILY EXERCISE
Identify one instruction from Scripture. Apply it deliberately today.
PRAYER
Father, help me to obey Your Word. Let my life reflect what I believe. I pray for believers, families, students, and leaders across Nigeria that they will live out Your Word daily. Lord, we ask that across nations, people will not only hear but obey Your Word. Strengthen the Church worldwide to walk in truth.
CONFESSION
I obey the Word of God. My actions align with the truth daily.
