Living in the freedom of the realization that Jesus KNOWS and cares about what concerns our hearts, even to the tiniest details, can help us navigate our way out of suffering. He cares about even the pettiest of things that concern our hearts, so how much more does He care about the big issues of life? (Matt 6:28-34)
God has proven His care for the details of my life, time and time again. REMEMBERING all that He has done for us is what can keep us going and growing. That's why keeping a gratitude journal and regularly looking at and adding to it can be a great help to your healing journey. (Psa. 103:2, Psa 105:5, Psa 111:4)
Guess what? God heard it. He saw it. He knew it was going to happen before it did. Nothing takes Him by surprise, and He allows what is needed to get us where He wants us to go and grow. We can't go and grow if we refuse to let Him mold us as the Potter forms the clay. Yes, we can be dropped and crack into what seems like a thousand pieces. But the good news is that Jesus is the Master at putting broken vessels back together and giving them new life that can be useful to those who come after us for generations to come. If we will just LET HIM WORK, the outcome can be the most beautiful "work of heart" that God has ever done in your life!
What is holding you back today from submitting your pain, anger, heartache, frustration, suffering, illness, betrayal, loss to The One who can make ALL things new? (Rev 21:5)
PRAYER:
Jesus, I give all my issues to You that have been hindering my progress and growth. You ARE the Potter, and I am merely the clay. Help me to submit to Your forming of me into something better than what I have been. Help me to forgive, relinquish control, move forward in grace, and emulate You in all my ways, that You may be glorified and honored in my life in the best ways possible. Create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, in Jesus' Name I pray, Amen!
