Pivot

DAY 21 OF 28

At the end of every week, we'll give you a challenge—something to try that might be outside your regular routine. Each challenge is designed to help you develop one important spiritual habit. This week, it's...

USE YOUR GIFTS

God has given all of us unique gifts. Whether it's your skills, talents, character traits, experiences, lessons learned, or even some of the stuff you own, you have a lot you can share with others. Today's challenge is going to help you think about the gifts God has uniquely given you, and how you can use those gifts to love God and others. Because when we use our gifts for God, we grow!

INSTRUCTIONS

God has been generous with us, and so many of the best gifts are things that can't be wrapped—people, memories, and more. Today, think about how you can give someone a gift like that. Choose one way to gift someone something important. It could look like...

  • Sitting with someone who feels left out.
  • Encouraging someone.
  • Helping without being asked.
  • Showing up when it's easier not to.

Give someone an irreplaceable, unwrappable gift and then talk with God about your experience.

About this Plan

Pivot

Sometimes the issue isn’t effort—it’s direction. Real change often begins with small, honest shifts in our habits, attitudes, and choices. Scripture shows how God invites us to pivot when our way isn’t working, leading to renewal and growth. In this series, students will see that God can turn our arrogance into humility, God can turn our cruelty into kindness, God can turn our selfishness into generosity, and God can turn our brokenness into wholeness.
