HE SEES

DAY 2 OF 3

Seen in the silence

Depression has a way of repeating the same quiet, heavy narrative: no one cares, no one sees you, you are alone. And somehow, it comes with what feels like evidence. It reminds you of the time you reached out and weren’t understood, the moment a friend didn’t show up the way you needed, the prayers that seemed to go unanswered. That’s the rhythm it plays—over and over— until it feels true. But that’s not the full story. Have you met Elijah? Have you met Jesus Christ? These are not strangers to despair, exhaustion, or overwhelming sorrow. Elijah wasn’t just tired from what was happening around him—it was the battle within that brought him to his knees. He reached a point where he felt he couldn’t go on. And what did God do? He didn’t shame him. He didn’t ignore him. He met him with care—food, water, and rest. “Rest, my child. I am here.” And Jesus—on the mount, facing unbearable suffering—felt the weight of it all. He was honest: “This is too much.” And still, in that moment, He found the strength to surrender: “If it is Your will, let it be.” How powerful is that? The Son of God—our big brother—felt the fear, the heaviness, the overwhelm. But He was not alone. And neither are you.

About this Plan

HE SEES

In this 3-day devotional, let’s pause together, hand in hand, and rest in God’s love. Life can feel overwhelming, like we’re sinking into deep valleys, wondering if God has turned away or forgotten us. We may feel lost and uncertain, quietly asking, “Do You even see me?” But in the midst of it all, His gentle voice reminds us: “I see you.” You are never unseen, never forgotten, never alone.
