DAY 9 — DEVELOP A TEACHABLE SPIRIT
Anchor Scripture: Proverbs 9:9
“Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still.”
Growth requires humility. A teachable spirit keeps you flexible, adaptable, and open to correction. Pride resists learning; humility invites progress. Scripture consistently connects wisdom with receptivity.
David prayed, “Teach me your way, Lord” (Psalm 27:11). Even as king, he remained teachable. Scripture also says, “Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed” (Proverbs 20:18). Refusing instruction isolates you; receiving it strengthens you.
A teachable heart listens before reacting, reflects before responding, and learns before leading. God often uses people, experiences, and even mistakes to instruct you.
Teachability keeps you relevant and growing in every season.
