DAY 8 — TRUST GOD’S TIMING
Anchor Scripture: Ecclesiastes 3:11
“He has made everything beautiful in its time.”
Impatience can quietly undermine faith. When timing feels slow, people often rush decisions, force outcomes, or abandon processes. But Scripture affirms that God works with timing, not haste.
God’s timing protects you from premature exposure. David was anointed king long before he sat on the throne, because preparation mattered (1 Samuel 16–2 Samuel 5). Delay was not denial; it was development. Scripture reassures us, “Though the vision tarries, wait for it; it will surely come” (Habakkuk 2:3).
Trusting timing requires humility. It acknowledges that God sees what you cannot. Psalm 37:7 encourages, “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him.” Stillness is not inactivity; it is confidence that God is working even when progress seems invisible.
When you respect God’s timing, you avoid unnecessary mistakes and preserve peace.
Truths to Hold
- Timing is part of God’s wisdom
- Delay often prepares capacity
- Waiting strengthens trust
Faith Declaration
I trust God’s timing. I will not rush ahead of Him or lag behind. My steps align with His perfect plan.
