Wait Well: Trusting God's TimingSample

Faith Without Timelines
We often say we trust God and at the same time, attach timelines to that trust.
“If it doesn’t happen by this age…”
“If I don’t see progress by this year…”
“If nothing changes soon…”
But biblical faith is confidence in God’s character, not control over God’s calendar.
Hebrews tells us faith is assurance of what we hope for, even when we don’t see it yet. Walking by faith means continuing to trust God even when deadlines come and go.
God is not bound by human clocks. He is eternal, intentional, and exact. And when He moves, His timing is always right.
Faith without timelines is not passive. It is active trust. It is choosing obedience without conditions. It is believing God is working even when there is no visible proof yet. It is knowing that God is sovereign and you're the sheep of His pasture, not the other way around.
Let go of the stopwatch. God is still faithful.
Prayer
Lord, I release my timelines to You. Help me walk by faith and not by sight. Teach me to trust Your timing without conditions or pressure. I believe You are working, even now, in Jesus’ name, amen.
