Wait Well: Trusting God's TimingSample

Why God Delays What He Promised
One of the most difficult questions in waiting seasons is: Why would God delay something He promised?
But delay does not mean denial. And timing is not punishment.
Scripture tells us there is a time for everything. God works with seasons because He works with purpose. What He promises must arrive at the right time, in the right condition, and to the right version of you.
Sometimes God delays because:
- Character needs to mature
- Wisdom needs to deepen
- Healing needs to occur
- Understanding needs to increase
- Alignment needs to be established
- Capacity needs to grow
God sees the full picture. We see only the moment.
Isaiah reminds us that God’s ways are higher than ours. What feels slow to us may actually be protection. What feels frustrating may be preparation.
If God rushed you into what you’re asking for before you were ready to steward it, the blessing could become a burden. So He works patiently, both around you and within you.
Waiting well means trusting not just that God will do it, but also trusting how and when He chooses to do it.
Prayer
Lord, help me trust Your wisdom. Even when I don’t understand Your timing, I choose to believe You see what I cannot see. Align my heart with Your process and prepare me fully for what You’ve promised, in Jesus’ name, amen.
