DYING TO LIVE
Biblical Reflection:
Lent reminds us that following Christ means dying to ourselves (Luke 9:23). This dying is not a loss, but the path to a truly full life. Letting go of ego, pride, and sin makes room for the life of Christ to be revealed in us.
Preparing for Easter means embracing the cross with hope, knowing that death never has the final word. When we choose to live for God, we experience an inner renewal that transforms our decisions, relationships, and purpose.
Reflection Questions:
- What do I need to surrender to God in order to live in freedom?
- How can I reflect the life of Christ in my daily actions?
- What does it mean for me to live an authentic and sacrificial faith?
On behalf of the Theological Bites team, we hope this devotional has been a great blessing to you. There is a song that helps me reflect during this Lenten season, and I would love for you to listen to it. Tell me what you think:
