Paul’s words in Philippians remind us that momentum is about direction, not perfection.
You don’t have to have everything figured out—you just have to keep moving forward. Maybe you’ve been distracted or discouraged. Maybe you feel like you’ve lost ground spiritually. The good news is that momentum works both ways—it’s never too late to start moving again.

Momentum is built through consistency—showing up again and again. The longer you stay faithful, the stronger the momentum becomes. What about when we face resistance and pressure?

Momentum doesn’t mean you’ll never face resistance—it means you’ll have the strength to push through it. Resistance is part of the process. It’s not proof that something’s wrong—it’s evidence that something’s growing. In 2026, you will face resistance and pressure, but when momentum is on your side, it’s far easier to break through.

Pressure produces momentum at the moment of breakthrough.

Picture a knife cutting a piece of paper. There is initial resistance, but once the knife punctures the paper, it shoots forward quickly and easily.

God will use obstacles, pressures, and resistance to push you closer to Him. Ultimately, when you experience breakthroughs in your faith, relationships, personal holiness, or any area you find yourself in need of, you will experience momentum that carries you forward.

PRAY THIS OUT LOUD

God, I pray You create in me a lifestyle of reliance on You. I pray that in 2026, I am closer to You than any year before. I pray You continue to speak to me this year as I prioritize You. I pray for supernatural momentum and the faith to break through any circumstance or obstacle I may face this year. I believe You have my best in store and I can trust Your goodness and faithfulness. AMEN.
