Prepare 2026Sample

I need faith for _______.
What is the first thing that comes to mind when you see the blank space? Is it a wayward child? A marriage on the rocks? Is it provision? Maybe it’s something you’ve been believing God for for years and still don’t see it?
In Mark 9, we see a father pleading with Jesus to heal his son. We can all relate to what the father says: “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” We feel the tension of knowing God can do the impossible, while still experiencing our current circumstances. The tension of knowing what God has promised us, but living in the waiting—waiting on a dream or a desire. God sees it all and wants to increase your faith.
Hebrews 11:1 tells us faith is confidence and assurance that defies our current circumstances. Allow this time of fasting, as your body is demanding food, to let your spirit be strengthened and sharpened so God can increase your faith.
Faith is like a muscle that can be built. You can grow your faith, and the mountain that seemed overwhelming or impossible today can become a small hill that you easily walk over tomorrow.
Today, choose to shift your perspective from what you can do to what only God can do. We choose to have faith in the middle and actively work to increase our faith by reading God’s word, praying, and worshiping Him.
PRAY THIS OUT LOUD
God, I ask You to increase my faith. Faith comes by hearing Your Word, and I believe I can trust You with all of my heart and not lean on my understanding. I believe You are the God of the impossible, and that You are always good and always on time. Give me more faith today for the things I am believing for. AMEN.
PRACTICALS
- Take some time to find a verse(s) and write it on a sticky note or index card. Find a visible place you can leave that verse (a mirror, dashboard, phone background).
- Commit to using your prayer card this year during your time with God.

About this Plan

Prepare is a three-day devotional designed to help you start the year with clarity—or recalibrate your heart at any point. Over these three days, you’ll be invited to slow down, refocus your priorities, and create spiritual momentum by intentionally placing God first. Whether you’re stepping into a new season or simply needing a reset, Prepare creates space for God to speak, renew vision, and strengthen your faith. We encourage you to consider fasting during these three days—giving up something meaningful to make room for what matters most.
