DAY 5 — A KINGDOM WORLDVIEW ABOUT YOURSELF

Key verse:

“I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”—Psalm 139:14

Your worldview about yourself affects everything — your choices, relationships, identity, and calling. Many people determine their value by achievement, appearance, acceptance, or ability. But Scripture defines value differently: you are valuable because God made you, God loves you, and Christ redeemed you.

Jesus commands, “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Mark 12:31). This means the way you treat yourself sets the standard for how you treat others. If you devalue yourself, you will struggle to honor others. If you believe lies about yourself, you will project those lies onto others. Self-view shapes worldview.

You are body, soul, and spirit — and God cares about all three. Your soul needs renewal. Your body needs stewardship. Your spirit needs communion with God. Neglecting any part affects the whole person. A Kingdom worldview restores dignity to every part of who you are.

Your identity is not earned — it is received. It is not defined by culture — it is defined by Christ. You are made in the image of God (Genesis 1:26–27), chosen (1 Peter 2:9), seated with Christ (Ephesians 2:6), and called with purpose (2 Timothy 1:9). When you see yourself through God’s eyes, everything changes.

What measuring stick have you used to determine your worth?

What lie about yourself do you need to confront with truth?

How can you love yourself in a biblical, God-honoring way?

Prayer:

Father, restore my view of myself. Remove every false label and heal every distorted belief. Jesus, help me see myself through Your eyes — loved, valuable, and chosen. Holy Spirit, teach me to walk in the identity You have given me. Align my inner world with Your truth. Amen.
