Making a Case for PurposeSample

Making a Case for Purpose

DAY 5 OF 5

It is Never Too Early or Too Late

Devotional

Purpose is not restricted by age, background, failures, or past mistakes. God calls people at different seasons of life. Moses discovered his assignment at 80, after 40 years in the palace and 40 years in obscurity. Abraham stepped into destiny at 75. Paul started as an enemy of the church before becoming its greatest apostle. Even a thief on the cross found purpose in his final moments—testifying of Christ.

This means no one is too young for purpose, and no one is too old. Some waste their younger years, some waste their middle years, but God is still able to redeem time. What matters most is not when you start—but that you start.

God does not consult your past to determine your future. He does not check your record before deciding whether to use you. He calls you based on His intention, not your perfection. Purpose is not earned—it is received. And as long as you are alive, breath is proof that God is not done with you.

Your journey may have been delayed by fear, ignorance, distraction, sin, or circumstances—but delay does not cancel destiny. God can restore wasted years. He can realign your path. He can reposition you for impact. What He requires is your surrender and your willingness to say, “Here am I—send me.”

Purpose begins the day you decide to respond to God. The moment you say yes, heaven begins to rearrange your life. Opportunities will open, clarity will increase, and destiny will begin to unfold. Today can be the beginning of a new chapter.

Prayer

Lord, I surrender my life to Your purpose. Whether early or late, use me for Your glory. Restore lost time and position me where You intended from the beginning. Amen.

About this Plan

Making a Case for Purpose

Every human must eventually confront the question of purpose—Why am I here? Purpose gives direction, identity, focus, and satisfaction. Without it, life becomes routine, empty, and easily influenced by confusion or deception. God, the Creator, remains the only true source of a person’s purpose. This 5-day devotional will help you understand why purpose matters, how it shapes your destiny, and how to begin living intentionally according to God’s design.
