Joy to the World
When Jesus was born, it wasn’t just the start of His life on earth — it was the beginning of His Kingdom. Isaiah’s prophecy tells us this baby would one day carry the world’s government on His shoulders. He would bring peace, justice, and goodness that lasts forever. The manger may have looked humble, but it was really a throne for the King of heaven! Jesus’ birth shows us that God’s power works through gentleness and love, not pride or force. Even as a baby, He was already the King who would bring light to a dark world. Every time we celebrate Christmas, we remember that the King of Kings came close enough for us to know Him personally.
How can you let Jesus lead you as your King today?
Prayer: Dear Jesus, thank You for coming as my King. Help me to follow Your ways and trust Your leadership every day.
Joy Challenge: Do one small act of kindness in secret today — like helping someone without telling them. Let your kindness honour your King.
