Jesus’ deity is shown through His name: the Son of God. When Jesus called God His Father, His listeners understood exactly what He meant—He was making Himself equal with God. “Son of God” doesn’t describe a lesser being; it declares shared nature. Through the Son, we see the Father’s character—His mercy, power, and authority—on full display. Scripture says Jesus is the only one who can say, “I always do the will of my Father.”
