God has given you your pastor to play an important role in your life. It is vital that we allow the man of God to have that leadership role in our lives.
I remember seeing my pastor walk into our hospital room one particular afternoon. My wife had just delivered our first daughter via C-section due to some complications during delivery. I recall my pastor coming to pray with us and holding our little girl in his arms. Not only was he there for the birth of all three of our daughters, but he was also present at my mother's funeral. My pastor loves me and my family, and he has always been there for us whenever we needed a friend. He has given me wise counsel many times when I wasn't sure if what I was doing aligned with God's Word. I thank God for my pastor.
God has given you a pastor who cares for you and prays for you often. I say this because pastoral guidance is God's plan for the church. Follow your pastor's godly advice, and pray for him and his family, as he cares for the flock.
