Back to the Basics 365Sample

Why are friendships in the church so important?
Acts 2:42 describes the early believers as continuing in “... fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.”From the earliest times in the Bible, the local church was built on relationships. God never intended for His people to walk through life alone.
True Christian friendship encourages, strengthens, and restores. Friends in Christ help you stay faithful when life gets difficult and remind you of God’s promises when you start to doubt.
A strong church family is one where believers care for one another and bear each other’s burdens. If you continue to think of the local church as a hospital, you will realize that everyone who attends is a patient in need of comfort and encouragement.
