A Spirit-Filled Church: Using What’s in the HouseSample

Faith in Action
Elisha’s instructions were specific: “Borrow many jars. Go inside. Shut the door. Pour.” The widow’s faith wasn’t just inward; it was expressed in action: gathering, shutting out doubt, and pouring out what she had.
Faith isn’t passive. It shows up in obedience, even when the task seems strange or the resources seem insufficient. The widow didn’t see the oil multiply until she started pouring.
Often, we want proof before we obey. But miracles follow steps of faith, not the other way around. When the church acts inviting, giving, serving, praying: God fills what we bring.
Reflection Question:
Where might God be calling you (or your church) to step out in faith before you see the result?

About this Plan

The single command Jesus gave his followers before igniting his movement was “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised...” (Acts 1:4). He was telling them to wait and then move with the Spirit. For a movement to accomplish God's mission, it must be guided by the Spirit of God. We want to challenge every leader at Exponential with the big idea of Spirit-filled: Moving With The Spirit.
