A Spirit-Filled Movement: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Mission

DAY 4 OF 7

Relational Networks

The gospel spreads best through relationships. Andrew introduced Peter. Philip invited Nathanael. Lydia brought her household. The Philippian jailer did the same. Over and over, we see a pattern: one transformed life impacts an entire network.

Sociologists call this “six degrees of separation.” We are only a few connections away from anyone on earth. Jesus knew this long before science confirmed it. He built a relational movement: person to person, house to house.

Our mission field begins where we already have influence on families, friendships, and workplaces. We are called to be witnesses not just across the world, but across the street.

Reflection Question:
Who in your relational network might God be prompting you to reach out to with His love?

About this Plan

A Spirit-Filled Movement: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Mission

The single command Jesus gave his followers before igniting his movement was “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised...” (Acts 1:4). He was telling them to wait and then move with the Spirit. For a movement to accomplish God's mission, it must be guided by the Spirit of God. We want to challenge every leader at Exponential with the big idea of Spirit-filled: Moving With The Spirit.
