The Mindset Of The Blessed
Many believers don't walk in the experience of God’s blessing because they underestimate what they've received. They expect blessings to look like finished products, money in the account, keys to a house, or letters of promotion. But God’s blessings often show up in seed form: ideas, wisdom, favor, access, strength, and opportunities. A car is convenient, but wisdom can reproduce wealth for generations. A promotion is nice, but favor can open doors no résumé ever could.
Our Father is a big God, and He thinks differently. When you pray for a chair, God may not hand you a chair; instead, He might give you a tree. Because the man who has the tree has the potential to carve out chairs, tables, boats, and even build a house. Having the mindset of the blessed is to see a tree and envision a forest. This mindset of the blessed doesn't just cry for outcomes; it recognizes the value of divine resources and understands the power of process.
And this mindset is cultivated by meditating on God’s word. The more your heart understands what God has placed within you, the more your thinking shifts from scarcity to sufficiency, from limitation to capacity. And when your mindset shifts, your experience will be different.
To think like the blessed, you must value spiritual resources as true wealth. When you embrace this truth, you begin to walk and act differently. You stop envying others and start stewarding what you’ve been given. You stop chasing the finished product and start cultivating the seed.
