The Road Home: Reflections of a ProdigalSample

Both the woman in this parable and the shepherd in the previous parable have in common that they searched for what was lost. Then they celebrated what was found!
What could this look like for you as an individual in your specific family, neighborhood, workplace, or school?
What is motivating the angels to celebrate and to wonder about salvation?

About this Plan

Jesus tells the parable of the Prodigal Son to a crowd of tax collectors and sinners, the unsavory people of that time. The Pharisees stand by in judgment. As we read together, we will explore the themes of repentance, returning, and rejoicing. Hopefully, we will be challenged and encouraged as we reflect on our own seasons and events that draw us back towards the Father – only to find Him running towards us!
