Let’s Go All In
Key Verse: “For he was awestruck by the number of fish they had caught, as were the others with him. His partners, James and John, the sons of Zebedee, were also amazed. Jesus replied to Simon, “Don’t be afraid! From now on you’ll be fishing for people!” And as soon as they landed, they left everything and followed Jesus.” - Luke 5:9-11
The blueprint of a house is a vision of what it will look like when constructed. With the blueprint, architects, designers and builders dedicate all their time, energy and skill to see the construction of the house completed.
Likewise, God has a vision of what He desires to accomplish in His Kingdom. He desires to work in partnership with us to build and expand His Kingdom. God already has the blueprint and He invites us to be a part of His grand plan to reach the world.
A big vision demands a big response.
In Luke 5, Jesus cast a vision in Peter, James and John’s lives that was bigger than what they were familiar with. This vision demanded a radical response and Peter, James and John left all they had known to follow Jesus. To the disciples, this meant severing ties completely with what they were used to in their fishing business to enter into ministry and fish for people!
Yet their response to Jesus’ call and vision for them was both immediate and decisive. They left their nets and boats and followed after Jesus at once. And they left them for good. They went all in for God’s vision and stayed true to the mission until their final breaths.
Today, what is your response to God’s grand vision for you?
It might mean stepping out in obedience, having big faith, realigning our priorities or laying down nets and picking up something new. Whatever it is, remember that God will equip those He calls! Let’s give God our full and complete ‘yes’ to see His Kingdom come and His will be done.

About this Plan
As we begin the 21-day journey, we invite you to prayerfully meditate on the theme, 'Deeper.' It's based on the Luke 5 passage where Jesus directed His disciples to launch into the deep. In this season, God is inviting us to go deeper in our walk with Him - deeper in faith, deeper in consecration, deeper in truth deeper in our call and deeper in love. Let these reflections encourage you to take bold steps into unchartered waters with faith and confidence, knowing that God goes before us. He will not fail us. He never has and never will.
