🎄✝️ the Christmas Tree: From the Cradle to the Cross ✨ 25 Days of Hope!

DAY 3 OF 25

Day 3: The Tree That Brought Death — Genesis 3:22–24

🌳 One choice can alter the entire trajectory of a person’s life. Adam and Eve had it made—they lived in a perfect world, ate the best food, enjoyed a satisfying marriage, and had no problems to speak of. Sound inviting? Sign me up!

But perfection quickly turned into brokenness. Before the Fall, Adam and Eve knew only good; they had no personal experience with evil. God never intended for humanity to know evil firsthand—it was Satan’s tool to drive a wedge between God and those made in His image.

The consequences of that one act of disobedience were devastating. Adam and Eve were driven from the Garden. Their joyful work became toilsome labor. Their perfect relationship with God—and with each other—was fractured. Sin entered the human story, and paradise was lost.

Yet even in the midst of judgment, there was a glimmer of grace. The Tree of Life still stood in the Garden—a quiet symbol of hope. Did God already have a rescue plan in motion? The answer comes at Christmas. The birth of Jesus is the turning point in the story of redemption. The same God who guarded the Tree of Life would one day send His Son, the true source of eternal life, to restore what sin had broken.

✨ Christmas Truth to Ponder: Even when all hope seems lost, God always provides a ray of sunshine through His grace.
🙏 Today’s Action Step: Thank God for working behind the scenes in your life today, even when you can’t yet see what He’s doing.
