The Mandate to Multiply.Sample

The Mandate to Multiply.

DAY 3 OF 3

Multiplication as a responsibility

Multiplication is also a responsibility. Every blessing God gives comes with a call to steward and to multiply what has been entrusted to us. God does not bless us for complacency but for productivity. In the Parable of the Talents, each servant was given resources according to their capacity—one received five, another two, and another one. The first two took responsibility and multiplied what they had, but the third buried his talent and lost the opportunity for increase.

This story teaches that it’s not enough to simply carry the blessing; God expects us to multiply it through faithful stewardship. The master’s words, “Well done, good and faithful servant,” remind us that faithfulness is the key that unlocks more.

Practically, this means showing up even when you don’t feel like it, being consistent, launching the ministry, writing the book, starting the podcast, leading the team—doing something with what God has placed in your hands. When we are faithful with the little, God entrusts us with much.

So the question remains: What are you doing with what God has placed in your hands?

About this Plan

The Mandate to Multiply.

The Multiply Plan is a three-day devotional exploring God’s original intent for humanity—to be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28). It unveils multiplication as a blessing, an instruction, and a responsibility. As a blessing, it reminds us that what seems small can become abundant in God’s hands. An instruction, it teaches that every blessing carries divine direction for its fulfillment. A responsibility, it challenges us to faithfully steward what God entrusts to us through consistency and obedience. This guide calls believers to align with God’s blueprint—to grow, multiply, and reflect His glory in every sphere of life.
