Satan's biggest tool is fear. We have let fear keep us captive for too long. Peter walking on water is a very popular story, but we don't understand the complexity of his emotions when we was on the water because we can only read about it. Because of us only being able to read it, we are quick to point out the flaw of Peter's faith and the solution: "focus on Jesus." Focusing on Jesus is the solution to our fear and can get us over the nerves of talking to strangers.
What may be some of your fears you have when it comes to evangelism, and how can you get over those?
About this Plan
Forgotten Ministries is a ministry dedicated to mobilizing churches. One of our key outreaches that we use to partner with churches is our "Tellgate Grill." We used content from our teaching series to create this plan. It is designed to encourage, admonish, and equip churches to leave comfort and accept the call to missions, living an active Christian lifestyle. We encourage small groups to go through this together, sparking conversation and growth as a group.
