Made for ThisSample

In the first part of Colossians 3, Paul describes taking off an old way of living and putting on a new one that looks like the life of Jesus. Lying, greed, anger and rage are out. Kindness, humility, patience, forgiveness and love are in. His description of new life in Jesus is focused on how we treat one another.

 Read Colossians 3:9-17.

Do you think about yourself as a living representation of Jesus? What specific actions from these verses do you sense God might want you to put into practice today?

About this Plan

Here's the deal. You were not placed on this planet for nothing. And you also weren't placed here for just anything. God created you with a specific plan in mind: to worship and reflect him in all you do. That is your purpose. And while it might seem daunting to live a godly life in today's culture, rest assured -- you are right where he wants you. You were made for this. This reading plan will guide you to read through two books of the Bible (Colossians and Ephesians).
