Day 3 – Finding Peace
Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. (Psalm 46:10)
Abba, my peaceful Father, why am I so troubled? Why do I think, “If I could just get that sorted out, life will become manageable?” Why do worries flood my heart in the middle of the night?
You teach me that You, not my circumstances or solutions, are my refuge and peace in all troubles, trials, tempests, and tribulations. You long to be my help.
You tell me to be still, be quiet, look up, and calm down, for You reign! You want to be a very present help in my troubles.
Today, I seek a wise mind and willing spirit aligned with Your will. Grant me understanding of Your ways, that I may find comfort and peace. Let me rest in Your presence, trusting You above all else.
