Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year TwoSample

So rend your heart, and not your garments; return to the LORD your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm (Joel 2:13 NKJV).
Why does God delay His justice?
In Revelation 4 and 5, we’re taken into the throne room of God, where He is worshiped as Creator and righteous Judge. His timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t align with ours. Have you ever wondered why justice seems delayed? God’s patience reflects His desire for repentance.
Do you trust His timing in your life? Worship the One who judges righteously and lovingly. Surrender your concerns about timing to God. Trust Him to bring justice in His perfect way and time.
Employment Point: Worship the Creator God because He is worthy.

About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
