The Bible in Song - 30 Days of Scripture MusicSample

Isaiah 43 Pt. 1 - I Love You
This is one of the most compelling, intriguing, and stunning chapters of Isaiah, yes, of the Bible, to me. I've written two songs about this chapter. But I could write songs with these words for the rest of my life, I think.
Here is God, kneeling on one knee, like a bridegroom proposing to His bride, and offering His undying love to Israel, to us.
He's trying to get it through to us, through our hard hearts, our hard heads, no matter what we've done, He LOVES us with a love so wide, so high, so deep. We can't even begin to imagine... but that's OK, we just have to receive it and accept it. And let that Love change us. From the inside out. And let that Love change the world, the people around us. So much so, that they will know us by our love. (John 13:34-35)
Isaiah 43 Pt. 1 - I Love You
1. O Israel, the one who formed you says,
“Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you.
I have called you by name; you are mine.
2. When you go through deep waters,
 I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty,
 you will not drown.
When you walk through the fire of oppression,
 you will not be burned up;
the flames will not consume you.
3. For I am the Lord, your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.
4. You are precious to me.
You are honored, and I love you.
13. From eternity to eternity I am God.
No one can snatch anyone out of my hand.
