The Bible's Business Plan

DAY 21 OF 31

“Well done, good and faithful steward! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy of your master!” Matthew 25:22-23 NASB

BUSINESS BIBLE

The Bible says more than what you think it says about investing. You may have heard that investing is risky. Jesus reveals how to invest 8 talents worth more than $20 million (USD) today and double the money! The Bible records that there is a process to multiplying money 2x, 10x, and 100x. The Investment Process has 3 steps and takes time. First, allocate according to ability. Second, diversify investments among different managers. Third, weight investments equally or efficiently. The Bible records it all.

In the Parable of the Talents, the talents are allocated to managers based on their ability, or dynamos—Greek for the divine ability and skills given to perform a task. The talents are diversified among 3 managers. And they are weighted 5, 2, and 1. The wise managers invest “at once,” demonstrating an understanding of the time value of money. The good stewards double their talents and are rewarded with more capital. The worthless steward has his talent taken away. The worthless steward yields no gains, fails to manage risk, and loses value by at a minimum not earning interest. The good stewards who wisely invest reap their reward. The reward is more capital to invest, more business, and more money to earn.

There is no reward without risk. So, get to work and invest at once!

PRAY

Lord, give me the ability to be faithful and multiply talents.
