Simple Notes on Everyday FaithSample

Owning & Growing Your Gift
Gifts aren’t meant to be hidden—they’re meant to be used.
But too often, we downplay what God has given us, afraid it’s not enough.
And when we bury our gifts, the world misses the blessing we were created to give.
I remember when I first discovered my ability to communicate—I thought, “This isn’t special; everyone can do this.”
It wasn’t until others started pointing out how it encouraged them that I realized I was treating God’s gift like it was ordinary.
When I finally leaned in, studied, practiced, and stretched, that same gift began to grow and open doors I never imagined.
Just like the servants in Jesus’ parable of the talents—those who invested what they had saw it multiply, while the one who buried his lost it.
Your gift isn’t accidental; it’s intentional. And growth comes when you actually use it.
So stop apologizing for what God put in you—develop it, sharpen it, and let it shine.
The gift God gave you was never meant to stay small.
