From Ritual to Relationship

There’s probably no greater need in the church than knowing how to pray.

Let us come boldly into the throne of grace so we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. There’s something about walking boldly into the throne room of God. God is not a far-off God. He’s a close God. Not a religious God, but a relationship God.

Why not now for us individually? Not just revival “out there,” but revival here. And revival starts in prayer.

Jesus radically disrupted the religious system. He replaced ritual with relationship, law with grace. Jeremiah saw this in advance—he prophesied a new covenant. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts… for they shall know Me.”

We don’t live under stone tablets—we live with hearts changed by encounter. This is not about law-keeping but love-following. Not distance, but intimacy.

Are we living in that relationship?
