Growing HopeSample

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9 (NIV)
After weeks of waiting, my husband called to me through the screen door.
There, poking through the rich black soil, was a tiny green sprout—lifting its head through the earth, saying, “I made it!”
We jumped up and down like kids on Christmas morning.
Sometimes, just the tiniest sprout of encouragement can help us keep going.
When we find ourselves in the in-between—sowing seeds but seeing no harvest—waiting with hope means believing the harvest will come in God’s perfect timing.
I seek out reminders: conversations with trusted friends, old journal entries where prayers have been answered.
Waiting is difficult, but the harvest is always worth it.
I pray for the most beautiful blossoms of peace, courage, and blessing to grow in the garden of your heart.
Reflect
- What new seed do I want to plant in my life today?
- Do I have a friend who can walk prayerfully beside me on this journey?
- Could I be a mentor of hope to someone else?
