Living One: A Study of Integrity in HebrewsSample

Day 10: A change of citizenship – a new home
Relocated to a New Kingdom
“But our citizenship is in heaven…” – Philippians 3:20a (NIV)
“Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household.” – Ephesians 2:19 (NIV)
When Christ saved you, you didn’t just change your beliefs—you changed your address. You’ve been relocated from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Light. You're no longer defined by the values of this world, but by the heartbeat of heaven.
As a citizen of heaven, you’re called to live by a new culture—one marked by grace, truth, love, and holiness. You don’t represent earth trying to reach heaven. You represent heaven invading earth. You are now a carrier of Kingdom values in a broken world.
New Position, New Perspective
“…But we have the mind of Christ.” – 1 Corinthians 2:16 (NIV)
Being seated in heavenly places doesn’t just change your position—it changes how you see everything. You now have access to Christ’s mindset. You don’t have to be driven by fear, anxiety, or confusion. His Spirit renews your thinking and reframes your world.
When you think like Christ, you begin to see like Christ—and that changes how you live, love, and lead.
Prayer Reflection
Father, thank you that I am a citizen of heaven. Help me live with your values and see the world through Christ’s eyes. Give me wisdom, peace, and boldness to represent your Kingdom well. I have the mind of Christ—help me think and live like it. Amen.
