The Story of GodSample

"And Mary said, 'Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.' And the angel departed from her." Luke 1:38 (ESV)
The only question that Mary asked in Luke 1 was a practical one since no other woman in the history of the world had been able to conceive a child without the help of a man: “How will this be, since I am a virgin?” Luke 1:34 (ESV). But when told “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God” Luke 1:35 (ESV), her questions stopped because she had an unwavering confidence in the power of God. After all, this was the God who split a sea in two for her ancestors, and who helped her ancestor Sarah conceive a child in her old age.
Questions:
Can you think of ways in which God has provided for you in the past that encourage you to trust him wholeheartedly for things you need in the present?
