Day 5: Keeping Our Eyes on Jesus

"Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith." Hebrews 12:1b-2a (NIV)

Dear Mama,

As we come to the end of this devotional plan, I want to thank you for joining me here. It has been such an honor to share Virginia’s beautiful words with you. She was a dear friend to me, and her life shone with the love of Jesus in everything she did.

Virginia lived her life with her eyes on Jesus. She mothered with faith, loved her family deeply, and served others with such a humble heart. She reminded me often that motherhood is not about doing it all perfectly, but about walking with God in the middle of it all. That is the kind of encouragement I want to pass on to you today.

Mama, I know there are days when you feel tired or unsure if you are doing enough. I want to remind you that you are not alone. Jesus is with you in every moment, and He cares about both your heart and your children’s hearts. He will give you strength when you feel weak and peace when you feel overwhelmed.

Your role as a mom matters more than you may realize. Every time you pray over your child, every meal you cook, every hug you give, and every tear you cry, God sees it. You are planting seeds of faith that will last far beyond what you can see today.

As you finish this devotional, I pray you will keep your eyes on Jesus. Let Him be your guide and your strength. Trust Him with your children, your home, and your heart. He will never fail you.

Prayer:
🕊️ Lord, thank You for always being with me and for speaking to my heart through Your Word. Help me to keep my eyes on You and to run my race with perseverance. Renew my heart each day with Your love and fill me with Your strength so I can love and lead my children well. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
