Sensational Shalom

DAY 6 OF 6

Kissing in the Bible šŸ˜™šŸ¤

We have come to the last day of our reading plan on Sensational Shalom. God’s shalom, His perfect peace for you, is truly sensational! ✨

Can you recall a moment when you felt entirely at peace? What was that like?

As Christians, we have access to a unique, exclusive kind of peace! The Amplified Bible Classic Edition defines it as:

That tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is. – Philippians 4:7 AMPC

To be so sure of your salvation that nothing else on this earth can shake you is the kind of peace available to you!

This peace:

1. Transcends all your circumstances

  • Peace between nations depends on the absence of war.
  • Peace between neighbours depends on the absence of conflict.
  • Resting in peace means being delivered from our physical pains.

But peace from God is one that can exist in the midst of war, conflict, pain, or any other earthly lot that may befall you. It is given to you at all times and in every way (2 Thessalonians 3:16).

2. Is inextricably linked to your righteousness

Surely His salvation is near those who fear Him,
that His glory may dwell in our land.
Love and faithfulness meet together;
righteousness and peace kiss each other. – Psalms 85:9-10 NIV

Righteousness and peace kiss each other; they belong together. When you became a believer, you were made righteous, and you received God’s peace:

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. – Romans 5:1 ESV

You cannot earn or achieve God’s peace by living a balanced lifestyle and avoiding conflict. It is freely available to all believers.

Friend, the price for your peace was paid on the cross; receive it today!

Hey! You are a Chamatkar.
