Win Your Child’s HeartSample

Moms, you can do this! You can woo your kids' hearts through lovingkindness. I know when we look at this scary world we can see all the battles ahead of our kids. We can see how the culture around us wants to have the hearts of our kids, which brings them all sorts of trouble.
It is not possible to keep our kids from all trouble. They will make mistakes—big ones! They will fail and fail again. They will experience rejection and pain that we cannot rescue them from. They will have problems, big and small. But we can be there for them.
The ultimate fruit of winning your children's hearts through lovingkindness is raising young people who love God and others—who can build healthy relationships, extend grace in conflict, and create families marked by authentic connection and mutual respect.
This transformation doesn't happen through lecture or curriculum but through lived experience. Children who receive consistent love learn to give it; those who experience forgiveness develop capacity to extend it; those who know acceptance can offer it to others. Your home becomes a training ground where the skills of emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and sacrificial service are developed through daily practice.
Moms, God has created you to be the keeper of your children’s hearts. What a divine and beautiful calling. He will equip you to woo their hearts not only towards you, but ultimately towards Him.
Reflection Question: When your child makes mistakes or faces rejection, how can you respond in a way that points them toward God’s forgiveness and acceptance?
