Day 5: Faith When You’re Tired
Devotion:
Tired doesn’t mean defeated. Even Jesus got weary. Life will exhaust you, especially when you’re fighting battles on multiple fronts. But God invites the weary to come closer. When you’re tired, don’t retreat. Rest in Him. It’s not your strength sustaining you anyway, it’s His. Sometimes faith looks like resting and refusing to quit.
There’s a difference between resting and giving up. Resting says, “I still believe, but I need to recharge.” Giving up says, “I no longer believe it’s worth it.” The enemy loves to attack in your exhaustion, hoping you’ll forfeit what’s coming because of how it feels right now. But this weariness is not the end, it’s a signal to return to the Source.
If you’re tired, don’t isolate, lean in. Let God minister to you in your fatigue. You don’t have to perform for Him. Your “yes” is still powerful, even if it’s whispered through weakness. He sees the weight you’re carrying. He offers more than relief, He offers restoration. You are allowed to rest without quitting.
Prayer:
Lord, I’m tired. But I won’t stop. Let Your strength be made perfect in my weakness. Restore me where I’m drained. Refuel me where I’m empty. I receive the rest that comes from trusting You, and I ask You to carry what I can’t. In Jesus’ name, amen.
