Day 2: Faith Through Tears
Devotion:
Faith doesn’t mean you don’t cry. It means you keep believing while you’re crying. There is a holy strength in tears, because even Jesus wept. Your tears are not a sign of weakness but evidence that your soul still hopes. God bottles your tears, not your victories. He’s near the broken. He’s not asking you to be unshakable, just unrelenting.
Tears don’t cancel faith; they often activate it. Every drop that falls from your eyes carries weight in the Spirit. Your cries are prayers too, especially when there are no words. David wept. Jeremiah wept. Jesus wept. And yet, they walked in power. God does not despise your brokenness; He dwells in it. Don’t apologize for your humanity. Instead, surrender it.
When you cry, you’re not falling apart, you’re laying it all at His feet. Cry, but don’t quit. Weep, but still worship. Let your tears be a testimony that even in grief, you are still grounded. Heaven sees every tear and responds with grace. You don’t have to fake strength; real faith flows even through the flood.
Prayer:
Lord, I’m hurting, but I still trust You. I give You every tear, every ache, every silent prayer. Thank You for catching what the world overlooks. Strengthen me through this pain. Let my tears water the seeds of breakthrough. In Jesus’ name, amen.
