A Vessel Prepared for God's Use: Be FilledSample

POSITIONING OUR VESSELS
At self-serve restaurants, I've noticed that if you're not attentive while getting your beverage, you could easily end up with something that doesn't taste right. This has happened to me many times. I would take a sip and realize it was not what I expected, as distractions led me to place my cup under the wrong flavor.
What fills our cup depends on where it is positioned. This raises an important question: "Where are you placing your vessel, and are you paying attention?" Take a moment to reflect on this. Here’s a profound insight: we must position our vessels beneath the right sources. A cup placed under a faucet of muddy water will be filled with contaminants, while a cup positioned under a fountain of pure, living water will be filled with life.
Equally important is the fact that our vessels have a limited capacity. When we position ourselves beneath God's fountains and become saturated with His Spirit, there simply isn't room for the contaminated water from worldly faucets.
The world offers us countless faucets—entertainment that numbs our conscience, materialism that promises security, relationships that demand our worship, and success that feeds our pride. These are broken cisterns that hold water unable to satisfy.
God offers us fountains of living water. When we position our hearts beneath His Word, we are filled with truth that transforms our thinking. When we position our lives beneath His purposes, we're filled with meaning that no earthly achievement can provide.
